How many centimeters are in an inch?

One inch is exactly 2.54 cm. Pick inches and centimeters in the Length tab. When feet or inches are involved, it also shows the result in feet and inches, like 5′ 7″.

Is 1 GB 1,000 MB or 1,024 MB?

Both are used. Drive makers usually use decimal (1 GB = 1,000 MB), while some operating systems use binary (1 GiB = 1,024 MiB). Switch between them in the Data tab.

Are cups and gallons US or UK measures?

US customary. A US cup is about 236.6 mL and a US gallon is about 3.785 L.
