FAQ
FAQ
Which Markdown syntax is supported?
Headings (# and ===), bold, italic, strikethrough, inline code, ordered, bulleted and nested lists, task lists, fenced code blocks, blockquotes, GFM tables with alignment, links, images, auto-linked URLs and horizontal rules. Footnotes, math, reference-style links and HTML blocks aren't supported; only a few inline tags such as <kbd>, <br>, , and <mark> work, without attributes.
Can pasted HTML or scripts run?
No. The preview is filtered through an allowlist of tags and attributes, so <script>, <iframe>, event attributes like onclick and javascript: links are removed or shown as plain text. Unsafe links and images are marked as blocked.
Where is my writing saved?
It auto-saves in this browser only and is never sent to a server. It won't appear on other devices or after you clear browser data, so use Save .md to keep a copy. The file name follows your first heading; double-click the name to change it.
How do I convert Markdown to PDF?
Press Print · PDF to open the print dialog with just the preview, laid out for A4, then choose “Save as PDF” as the destination. You can switch the preview between sans-serif and serif fonts. To paste into a blog or CMS, use Copy HTML.
