Do these QR codes expire?

No. They're static QR codes, so the content is stored in the image itself and keeps working forever, even without this site. The flip side is you can't edit it later; make a new one if the content changes.

How does a Wi-Fi QR code work?

Enter the network name (SSID), security type and password. Scanning the code with a phone camera joins the network without typing the password. Handy for guests at home or in a café.

Is anything I enter uploaded?

No. The QR code is generated right in your browser, and your URLs, passwords and contact details are never sent anywhere.

My colored QR code won't scan.

Keep a dark foreground on a light background with plenty of contrast, and don't shrink the quiet zone too much. For print, raising error correction to Q or H makes codes easier to read.
