PNG · JPG · WebP · GIF (first frame) · paste with Ctrl+V.
Logos and icons with few colors and clear edges trace the cleanest.

Images are never uploaded. Tracing happens only in this browser on your device. (imagetracerjs 1.2.6 · Unlicense)

Good to know. Works best for simple-colored images like logos and icons. Photos become poster-like, and large images can take a while and produce big SVG files.

FAQ

FAQ

Will a photo turn into a clean SVG?

Photos have many colors and edges, so they become a simplified poster-like image. Logos, icons and line art with few colors and clear edges give the cleanest and lightest results.

The SVG file is too large.

Use fewer colors and raise noise removal and line/curve simplification. Keeping “scale down large images” on (long side 1000px) also cuts the number of paths.

Is my image uploaded?

No. Tracing runs with the imagetracerjs library inside your browser on this device, and the image is never sent anywhere.
