How to use

  1. Pick a size at the top: US passport & visa, UK passport, Schengen visa, Canadian or Australian passport, or a custom size.
  2. Open or drop your photo. Drag to move and use the zoom and rotate sliders (or pinch) to line your face up with the guide.
  3. Make sure the top of your head is in the red band and your chin is in the green band. Adjust brightness or warmth if needed.
  4. Save a single 300dpi photo, or a 4×6 in print sheet with several copies and cut lines.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Cropping and saving happen entirely in your browser. Your photo is never sent to a server.

How do I print the 4×6 sheet?

Order a standard 4×6 in print at a photo lab, pharmacy or kiosk and choose original size with no cropping. The file has 300dpi info, so each photo comes out at the exact size.

Can it change or remove the background?

No. Take the photo against a plain white or light wall. You can lightly adjust brightness and warmth if the background looks gray or yellow.

Will my photo be accepted?

The guides follow each agency's published size rules, but rules change and photos are also checked for lighting, expression and glasses. Always confirm the current requirements before you submit.
