FAQ
FAQ
Does the same seed really produce the same picture?
Yes. Everything is drawn from random numbers derived by hashing the seed, so the same seed, style, palette, ratio and texture always give the same composition. Only the resolution changes, and browsers may anti-alias edges slightly differently at the pixel level.
How large can I print it?
At 300 dpi, 6000px on the long edge is about 20 inches (50.8 cm), 4096px about 13.7 inches and 2048px about 6.8 inches. Posters viewed from a distance look fine at lower dpi, so you can print larger.
Is the artwork made on a server?
No. It's drawn on a canvas right in your browser. Your seed and images aren't sent anywhere, and the share link simply stores the settings after the # in the URL.
Can I get back to a seed I made earlier?
Seeds you were viewing before rolling a new one, or that you shared or saved as PNG, are kept as Recent seeds in this browser (up to 8) so you can tap to return. To keep one long-term, save its share link.
